How to Run a Quality Control Inspection
- Step 1. Define QC plans under Manufacturing with checkpoints and acceptable criteria for repeatable inspections.
- Step 2. Link the QC plan to the work order or production step as your process requires.
- Step 3. When production reaches the QC stage, open the inspection screen from the work order.
- Step 4. Record measured values and pass/fail per checkpoint.
- Step 5. Accept output into finished goods stock only after QC passes; reject or rework quantities stay traceable.
Tips
- Quality statistics reports summarize inspection outcomes over time for continuous improvement.
