Can members have unlimited classes or a number per month?
Both. A plan can be unlimited or give a number of credits that refill every period.
Do class packs expire?
Yes, if you set a validity in days. Unused credits expire with the pack and the history shows it.
What happens when a member cancels a class?
The credit is returned, unless the plan has a late-cancel window and the member cancels inside it. A no-show keeps the credit used.
Can memberships be frozen?
Yes. A manager or the member can request a freeze; the end date and next payment move out by the days frozen, and a freeze fee is optional.
Is billing automatic?
Cards on file are charged automatically each period through Stripe, failed payments are retried on a schedule and the membership is paused after the last attempt. Charges are raised as invoices in Biznsbook; card receipts are not posted to the ledger automatically.
Can members check in with a QR code?
Yes. Each member has a QR pass. Staff scan it or search for the member, and entry is checked against the plan, credits, waiver and arrears. A manager can let a denied member in; the override is kept.
Does it control doors and turnstiles?
Biznsbook provides a door API your access controller can call to open or deny entry using the same rules. Ready-made adapters for specific door hardware are not included.
Is there a member app?
Members get a web app they can install on a phone: membership, pass, class booking, freeze and cancel requests, and waiver. There is no native iOS or Android app.
Can I pay instructors per class, and do I need HR or Payroll?
Yes. Set pay per class, per person or both and tie a personal-training pack to a trainer. Instructors are listed in Gym itself, so you do not need HRMS or Payroll: download the pay as a CSV. If you add HRMS and Payroll, link an instructor to an employee and send the total to payroll; a class is never sent twice.
